Since the invention of AGV, a variety of navigation methods have been derived. Each navigation method has its own unique features and uses. The current mainstream AGV navigation methods include electromagnetic navigation,tape navigation,QR code navigation and laser navigation.
Electromagnetic navigation is a traditional guidance method. Metal wires are buried in the AGV driving path and low-frequency and low-voltage currents are loaded to generate a magnetic field around the wires. The induction coil on the AGV recognizes and tracks the strength of the navigation magnetic field.
Tape navigation technology is similar to electromagnetic navigation. Tape navigation uses tape on the road instead of burying a metal wire under the ground, and guides it through magnetic tape induction signals.
The QR code navigation AGV can move the shelves where the goods are located from the huge warehouse storage area to the employee processing area according to the order.It improves warehouse efficiency greatly.
